Disclaimer
These legal pages represent platform rules and operational policies governing tournament participation on the Hertz Esports platform. They do not constitute formal legal advice.01.Eligibility Criteria
- Regional Lock: Competitions are restricted strictly to players residing in Malaysia (MY) and Singapore (SG).
- Roster Limitation: A player may register and participate in only one (1) roster per league season. Multi-roster participation is strictly prohibited.
- Roster Sizes: Registered teams must maintain a minimum of five (5) players and a maximum of ten (10) players.
- Account Ownership: Players must play on their own registered accounts. Smurfing, ringing, or playing on behalf of another user will lead to immediate disqualification.
02.Registration Policies
- Captain Authority: Only the designated Team Captain is authorized to register the team and submit the official roster for league entry.
- Deadlines: All league registrations must be submitted before the published registration closing date. Late entries will not be processed.
- Incomplete Rosters: Teams with incomplete rosters (fewer than 5 players who have approved their invitations) will be blocked from registering.
03.Mandatory Check-In
Team check-in is mandatory before bracket generation. Failure to check in within the designated check-in window will result in immediate removal from the tournament. Tournament operators reserve the right to manually verify team attendance and override check-in status when necessary.
04.Match Play & Formats
- Formats: Matches will be played in either Best of 1 (BO1) or Best of 3 (BO3) formats, depending on the tournament stage as published by the operator.
- Official Map Pool: The tournament uses the active competitive map pool. Maps must be selected using the official ban/pick process.
- Lobby Setup: The Team Captains are responsible for setting up the match lobby, verifying server region settings, and ensuring spectators are limited to official observers.
05.Score Reporting & Verification
Both captains are required to report scores immediately upon match completion. Reporting requires uploading clear screenshot proof of the final scoreboard. Providing false score reports, inaccurate evidence, or failing to report scores within the deadline may result in penalties, match forfeits, or bans.
06.Disputes & Appeals
Match score disputes must be submitted via the platform within the designated dispute timeframe (maximum of 30 minutes post-match). Disputes submitted after this timeframe will not be audited. All decisions made by the HZ Operator or Tournament Administrator are final.
07.No Show & Forfeit Policy
Teams have a maximum fifteen (15) minute grace period from the scheduled start time to present a full roster of 5 players in the match lobby. Failure to appear within this grace period results in an automatic match forfeit.
08.Prize Distribution
Prizes will only be issued after complete match verification and operational integrity audits. Hertz Esports reserves the right to request verification information, such as residency verification or identity proof, before releasing funds.
09.Conduct & Competitive Integrity
- Cheating: Any use of hacks, third-party software, scripting, or peripheral assistance is strictly prohibited and results in a permanent lifetime platform ban.
- Toxic Behavior & Harassment: HZ maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, racism, sexism, and hate speech. Violations will lead to player suspension.
- Bug Exploitation: Intentional exploitation of in-game map or character bugs is prohibited and will result in match forfeit.
