By accessing or using the Hertz Esports (HZ) platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. The platform is designed solely for competitive tournament operations, scrimmage matching, and team organization.
2. User Accounts
To participate in tournaments, you must create a personal account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and verifiable information, including your Discord account details. Account sharing or transferring is strictly prohibited.
3. Tournament Participation
All tournament registrations, match check-ins, map vetos, and score reports must obey the official Tournament Rules. Any form of match rigging, colluding, cheating, software exploitation, or toxic conduct will result in disqualification and immediate ban.
4. Team Responsibilities
Team Captains hold administrative authority over their team. They represent the team in registration, check-ins, score submissions, and dispute filings. All players on a roster share responsibility for the team's compliance with platform guidelines.
5. Disqualification Rights
HZ reserves the right to remove teams, players, registrations, or tournament entries that violate rules or damage competitive integrity. Rulings made by the HZ Operator or Tournament Administrator are final and binding.
6. Limitation of Liability
Hertz Esports provides the platform "as is" and without warranties of any kind. HZ is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime, matchmaking delays, tournament cancellations, or network issues. Participation is at your own discretion and risk.
7. Suspension & Termination
HZ reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts, suspend team registrations, or restrict access to the platform for any user who violates these terms, fails to verify account integrity, or engages in disruptive behavior.
8. Updates To Terms
HZ may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following the posting of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. Users are encouraged to review the Terms of Service periodically.
